Are you willing to with one of the best diamond company in the world?, If you are passionate about being a supervised diamond handler you might the that energetic and hard working candidate that de beers is looking for to fill 3 positions of supervised diamond handler to be based at Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa.
The purpose of the position is to involves in the goods processing and take care of management processes, while making sure that time management is being taken care of by completing tasks on time before the deadline and also involves in all admirative processes and systems.
The candidates will be responsible for many tasks and processes including using all machinery that are being used in the area to make the job done effectively and will also be responsible for computer systems to execute the main tasks. The candidates will be responsible for making sure that the shipments are being weighed accurately and also involves in the make up of products for quality checkups.
The candidates will also be responsible for updating and completing all processing data and responsible for making sure that the tasks are being done according to the company policy and SHE standards. The candidates will also involves in a stock management , resorting and sizing and also perform administration work and also helping around
The candidates must have grade 12 and passed mathematics, English and one of the official language and the candidates will be required to complete training program at Diamond Academy.
This position needs a candidates who has skill and ability to take instructions and follow company ways of doing things, their policies and procedures and the candidates must have communication skills . Some of the skills and knowledge like DBSSSA will be offered during the training at Diamond Academy. Past experience in the similar or team work experience will be advantageous. The candidates must have ability to adopt to change and must be consistency and attention to details. The candidates must be team player and ability to work in a diverse team.
