Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery / collection of goods
- Counter collections
- Housekeeping
- Safety
- Deliver goods to customers
- Obtain the necessary signed and stamped POD’s on delivery to customers
- Collect goods from suppliers and customers
- Check vehicle before taking on a trip for roadworthy and maintenance
- Report any defect on the vehicle
- Assist as and when required with all aspects of general site duties such as:
- Cross check with customer collecting
- The receiving of goods from the various suppliers i.e. offloading of containers and the opening and unpacking of parcels received
- Verifying the items received against the relevant documents to be correct in quantity and part number
- Check items received and the general condition of the packaging to be free from any defects. Report any such defect
- All safety and housekeeping aspects on site.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
Skills and Competencies
- Valid driver’s license
- A good knowledge and understanding of Epiroc products
- Good communication skills
- Good customer relations
- Interpersonal skills to work as part of the site team
- Understanding of flow of goods
