Job Description
Minimum qualifications and skills:
· NQF 4 Relevant Trade Certificate
· Coded Welder would be advantageous.
· First Aid Level I Certificate.
· Basic Firefighting training
Work experience:
· Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Read blueprints to determine the location, position, and dimensions of mechanical structures.
· Lay out prefabricated parts of larger structures before assembling them.
· Assemble structures, often using robotic or automatic welders.
· Replace or repair broken valves, pipes or joints using hand and power tools, gas, torches, and welding equipment.
