Eskom is looking for the services of 3 candidates to fill a position of officer environmental position at Limpopo Province, South Africa. Job Description

Successful candidates will be responsible for different task including the following:

• Responsible for managing environment
• Responsible for checking and managing risk
• Doing assessments
• Checking and monitoring contractors plans , their strategies to complete jobs
• Communicating with stakeholders and also involves in the contact management
• Writing daily, weekly and monthly environment reports
• Complying SHEQ prescription and standards

Qualifications

• 1.Education: Grade 12, National Diploma – Environmental Management, Natural Science or Environmental
• Management Degree. Driver’s License
• 2. Experience: 3 years
• 3. Skills:
• Ability to show technical skill
• Strong interpersonal skill
• Effective leadership skill
• Strong communication skill both (verbal and writing )
• Customer oriented
• Ability to solve problem

Eskom is one of the South African state own company that provide electricity to South Africa and other neighboring countries. Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd has the Government of the Republic of South Africa as its sole shareholder, with the shareholder representative being the Minister of Public Enterprises. As a public entity, it is governed by the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act 1 of 1999 (PFMA). The PFMA requires a company to conclude a shareholder compact with the shareholder representative. The shareholder compact has to contain shareholder expectations in the form of predetermined objectives and key performance indicators and ensures alignment between the Board and the shareholder representative.
