Job Description
The candidates will be responsible for making sure that all vehicles are delivered and collected according to the Bidvest policy and standard of operation. The candidates will also be accountable for making sure that all vehicles are in good condition and compliant to customers instructions. The candidate will also be responsible for the following duties:
- Checking if vehicles VIN number correspond the picking list
- Vehicle inspection to detect damages or scratches
- Making sure that vehicles got protecters
- Making sure that the battery of vehicles are being charged before dispatching
- Reporting vehicles damages to the manager
- Making sure the vehicles got tow hook
- Responsible for offloading and loading vehicles
- Lashing and unlashing of vehicles
- Making sure that moving vehicles are on the list
- Maintaining cleanliness
- Complying with the prescribed to meet customer expectations
- Complying to the company policy and standard
- Report incidents to the management
- Following clients yard protocols and procedures
- Always using PPE
- Complying with SHE
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Experience: 2 years
- Skills and Competencies
- Basic admin skills
- Analyzing and reporting skills
- Communication skills (Verbal and written )
- Planning skills
- Strong organizing skills
- Ability and ready to work overtimes
- Handling scanner
- Ability to work in a divers team
- Customer oriented skills
- Ability to work under pressure and stress environment
