Safcol is looking for unemployed candidates who are willing to become Artisan in future. The qualified candidates will be offered opportunity to do training at a recognized Training Center and they will be trained to become Artisans after 3 years. The candidates will be based at our training workplace at Sawmill Timbadola near Louise Trichardt ( Makhado)
Trades offered
- Boiler Maker
- Fitter and Turner
- Diesel Mechanic (Motor trade)
- Electrical
- Millwright
Requirements
- South African Citizen
- Unemployed youth of age 18 to 35 years old
- Passed or completed grade 12
- Minimum of N2 or Level 3 Technical Vocational
- Education and Training (TVET) certificate with the relevant trade theory

Other information
Successful candidates will be receiving a monthly stipend for the duration of the apprenticeship. First consideration will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, people with disabilities , females and youth from the local communities near to our plantations and all communities that we have pact about social compact with. After completing the program, the candidates will go for final assessment (Trade Test) to be certified as a qualified artisan.
