Offers support to their Direct Manager not the company as a whole.

Job Description
The candidate will be accountable for the following key duties:
- Maintain office policies and procedures
- Book and make travel arrangements
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organizing and scheduling appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
- Resolve administrative problems
- Any adhoc tasks as required by their Manager
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12, Additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be an advantage
- Experience: Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Admin Assistant
- Skills and Competencies:
- Communication skills (Verbal and written)
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and scanners
- Computer skills MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- Details oriented
- Problem-solving skills
