Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure the
- safe and effective operation of machinery
- and equipment
- Ensure the safe and effective handling of
all Engineering machinery and equipment - General housekeeping in area of
responsibility - Operate and maintain power driven tools
- Perform tasks under the raised bucket of a
LHD or pan of a Dump truck - Perform tasks under a trackless mobile
machine - Remove or fit hydraulic hoses and fittings
- Change a wheel on a trackless mobile
machine - Remove or replace batteries
- Service TMM’s as per the supplier’s
manual - Inflate tyres
- Fill/Top up oils and coolants
- Make up hydraulic hoses
- Maintain all SPMMs
- Clean machines with high pressure
cleaner - Maintain tyres, hydraulic hoses and
Chutes
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10
- Engineering Level 2 Training
- At least 2 years’ experience as
- an Assistant
- Good communication skills in
English.
