Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist artisan and/or assigned supervisor(s) for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
- Installs system component parts for the purpose of providing a safe and workable environment
- Performs a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
- Prepares written materials i.e.: -repair status, activity logs, for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information
- Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
- To assist artisan in effectiveness of maintenance through effective housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/ NQF Level
- N3 Engineering studies (advantageous)
- Computer literacy
- 2 years Mine experience as assistant Rigger.
