Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Assistant Sampler. The
position will be based at Bokoni Platinum Mines at Atok (Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, Sekhukhune
District Municipality in Limpopo. Purpose of the job is to assist with daily sampling, mapping and basic grade control functions in the underground workings.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect the workplace prior to commencing work.
- Transport equipment and tools to the workplace.
- Operate a sample cutter and chipping tool.
- Take samples from a Conveyor Belt.
- Weigh and tag samples.
- Operate Sampling Crusher.
- Perform mapping tasks.
- Clean and maintain tools/equipment
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (with maths & science).
- At least 6 months experience in MRM department.
- Good communication skills in English.

About Bokomi Platinum Mine
Bokoni Platinum Mines is an ARM owned mining operation situated on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex.
This operation is planned to produce circa 400,000 oz per annum. Its project plan includes the construction of new
decline shafts with combined capacity of 240,000 tons per month, a new concentrator plant, tailings storage facility
and associated surface and underground infrastructure
