Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Operate the Tailings dam
Ensure that equipment is stored properly.
Ensure that there is enough stock quantities.
Ensure that the equipment is used correctly.
Do site specific induction
Slurry densities and Freeboard
Deposition – location, duration
Day wall width (where appropriate)
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12
- Experience: 2 years
- Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication (verbal and written)
- Good planning and organising
- Teamwork and observant
- Innovation and Actioned-orientated
- Must be able to understand the relevant Standard Operating Procedures
- Medically fit to work in a mining environment
- Must pass the mine’s criminal screening process
- Medically Fit
- May be required to work overtime from time to time
