Job Description
As a Conservation Program Officer at GVI, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting and helping on development of project
- Demonstrating leadership and being a mentor to the volunteers and guide them
- Using Software like GIS or Mapping software
- The candidate will be involves in a data analysis
- Write report
- The candidate should be ready to work night and also weekends
- Ensuring that the projects are executed according to the standard and procedure and working along all stakeholders
- The candidate will be involves in an admirative work
- Maintaining and implementation of child policy for GVI
- Helping and assisting with the group and under 18 program
- Interacting and working with the stakeholder to make all programs successful
- Responsible for ensuring that volunteers are doing their works and all people are doing their duties accordingly
- The candidate will be responsible for logistics and also when people are moving from one place to another and all communications are done in times
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12, FGASA level 1 apprentice or similar qualification
- Experience: 1-2 years preferably African wildlife, the candidate must be South African, The candidate must have South African driving license with PDP.

- Ability to commit to conversation and research
- Sense of humor
- Data analysis skills
- Writing and reporting skills
Advantageous
- Knowledge of QGIS or ArcGIS
- Background of scientific mapping packages
- Qualification in conversation or related field
- The candidate must have first aid certificate
