Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 / Standard 8 Certificate.
- Code B (08) Driver’s Licence.
- 2 years practical experience as a Competent Operator on relevant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the required mining equipment (heavy duty) in designated areas toward supporting production or mining activities, in accordance with set operating standards.
- Conduct vehicle pre-use inspections. Operate HV. Observe component performance. Identify sub performance. Report deviations and defects. Perform daily Mini Risk Assessment.
- Render support with ad hoc tasks using the forklift and boom attachments. Adhere to safety procedures and practices.
- Park HV in allocated area. Follow lock-out procedure on the HV. Submit keys to Security.
