Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective and efficient operation of the total production process making use of manual operation as and when necessary while maintaining process conditions and monitoring production parameters.
- Operate and control various types of equipment (HM Drum, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps etc.) and machinery.
- Conduct pre-shift inspection of equipment, machine parts, and/or components of the production line to ensure production flow according to standards within prescribed processes and procedures.
- Continuously observe / monitor component performance against standards to identify any sub performance / non-conformance or deviations, and report to Supervisor. Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Adhere to planned maintenance / production schedules to assist in achieving production throughput.
- Ensure optimised process flow. Identify constraints and/or troubleshoot operational deviations and communicate to supervisor or line manager.
- Ensure correct product grade by following grade assurance and control processes. Perform lock-out procedure whenever required. Perform housekeeping duties whenever required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate.
- 6 months exposure to relevant production process in a plant / operations environment.
