Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Effective and efficient import and export of materials and equipment within budget
Effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows
Efficient coordination, control and administration of import and export of materials and equipment
Effective and proactive identification and mitigation of import and export risks
Effective self-management in alignment with M&RC’s values
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF4)
- Supply Chain related tertiary qualification
- Proficient in MS Office [Excel & Word essential]
- Analytical
- Attention to detail
- Planning and organising
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Skills and Competencies
- Product management
- Understanding of factors impacting businesses and their suppliers
- Logistics and supervisory functions
- Proven ability to be hands on within a heavy workload environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing risk
- Supply Chain policies and procedures
- Knowledge of any ERP system, preferably JD Edwards
- Working experience on JDE or similar ERP system
- Experience generating and analysing reports
- Knowledge of inbound and outbound principle
- Knowledge of supply chain policies and procedures
