De Beers is looking for serious candidates to be part of the mineral processing learnership which will offer permeant positions after learnership completion.

In order to qualify for this life changing opportunity, The candidates must have communication skill both speaking and writing and the candidates must follow the company ways or company standard and policy to complete tasks. Safety is one of the most important things in the mining industry, therefor the candidate will be required to follow safety measures to make the working environment safe and also protect safety of others.  

The candidates must also demonstrate the ability to solve problems and also basic administration like making records and reports. The candidate will learn how to deal with pips and pump and also fixing them to facilitate best performance which contributes to the production.  The candidates will be accountable for almost all processes that happens at the plant , it will be the accountability of the candidates to make sure that the downtimes and breakdowns are being minimized at all cost for the plant run efficiently. The candidate will also be responsible for cleaning plant area as per Forman request and will also participate in the SHE meetings and also involves in the sampling for laboratory testing.   

To be considered for the program, the following documents should be available when making an application, Certified copy of ID,  CV, proof of residents, certified copy of grade 12 certificate, certified copy of code 10 driving license , and again the applicant should not be in any program. Preference will be given to communities of local municipalities which Musina or Blouberg Municipality.
