Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading scaffolding equipment on site
- Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding
- Erecting scaffolding poles
- Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures
- Laying planks for workers to walk on
- Reporting hazards to supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- Competent B
- Certificate in Scaffold Erect and Inspection
- A completed work safety at heights short course
- Valid Driver’s license
- Medically fit for underground
Skills and Competencies
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the mining environment
- A good understanding of Health and Safety
- Strong practical and teamwork skills
