The qualifying candidate will be accountable for security procedures within an Anglo Platinum Operation to ensure that employees and assets are protected. Investigation support and emergency protection duties will be part of the activities of this role by looking after our assets, you’ll become an asset too

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Performing investigations and documenting cases
- Control the setting and responses to alarms
- Perform observation activities to support investigations
- Effectively drive security vehicles
- Clean and inspect on equipment and firearms
- Conducting drug and alcohol tests
- Performing Audit
- Support the rostering and administration of Protection Services team Support the training of Protection Services team
- Allocates tasks within a Protection Services team
- Maintain facilities, equipment and personal image
- Identify and report problems
- Promote security awareness
- Support effective teamwork
- Attending meetings
- Doing admin tasks
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12, Registered with the PSIRA Grade B
- Experiences: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Security environment or equivalent
- Skills and Competencies:
- Effective communication skills
- Computer skills
- Handling of various emergency situations
- Strong Good working relations
- Psychometric Assessment for firearm users
- No criminal record
- Pass polygraph test
- Protection Services Induction
- Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
- Use of Force Procedure
- AAP Rules of engagement
- Handling and use a Shotgun for Business Purposes
- Handle and use a Handgun for Business Purposes
- SAPS Firearm competency (Handgun and shotgun)
- PSIRA Armed responses course
- Valid driver’s License code B
- Company Driver’s License (Advantageous)
- Armoured Vehicle driving course will be advantageous
