IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanized state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.
STEEL FIXER X10 – Limited duration contract of employment (REF: B&CO-2406)
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Grade 12
EXPERIENCE:
· 2-3 years of experience in steel fixing.
· Competency certificate proving his position as Steel Fixer
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Willing to work continuous overtime as and when required.
· Must be medically fit and willing or able to work on heights.
· Good problem-solving abilities.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
· Must be a mature self-motivated and well-disciplined individual
· Demonstrate dedication in meeting deadlines
· Stress tolerance
· Promote a high safety standard
· No Criminal record
