Job Description
Key responsibilities
- To operate the UV and any duties associated with UV’s.
- Transport and loading of material underground and on surface.
- Top up diesel, engine and hydraulic oils and operate bowser pump and re-fuel
TMMs. - Report to supervisor diligently at the end of shift machine condition and
location. - Conduct start of shift inspections on the UV and test brakes.
- Perform emergency stopping procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Grade 10 for Ex Bokoni with relevant experience in Operating a Utility Vehicle.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Competent B is a requirement.
- Valid UV licence is a requirement.
- Previous experience as a UV Operator.
- Experience in mechanized mining will be an advantage.

About Bokoni Platinum Mine
Bokoni Platinum Mine is an ARM owned mining operation situated on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex.
This operation is planned to produce circa 400,000 oz per annum. Its project plan includes the construction of new
decline shafts with combined capacity of 240,000 tons per month, a new concentrator plant, tailings storage facility
and associated surface and underground infrastructure
