position will be based at Bokoni Platinum Mine at Atok (Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, Sekhukhune District
Municipality in Limpopo. The purpose of the job is to safely attend to Pumps.

Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or,
- Grade 10 for ex-Bokoni employees with previous relevant experience in operating a
pumps is a minimum requirement - Competent “B” in mining education
- Minimum of 2 Years experience with attending to a pumps
Key Responsibilities
- Move or relocate pumps
- Conduct pre-start checks on the pump
- Check and top up oil levels ( daily)
- Tighten leaking glands
- Inspect and grease bearings
- Start and stop pumps
- Monitor pumps and report non-conformances
- Assist with pump repairs
- Check water pipes and inflow to dams
- Check and report mud levels in dams
- Clean pump and sump stations ( daily)
- Assist Fitter with maintenance tasks.
