Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Work with team leaders / supervisors.
- Perform inspections on designated area of responsibility everyday.
- Planning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing area.
- Assist with the problems solving on operational challenges and report ant deviation to the immediate supervisor.
- Adhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislations and company procedure.
- Extension and connecting of pipelines
- Opening and closing of valves in line with operational lines.
- Take responsibility for your performance.
- Ensure a good housekeeping at all times.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- 0-2 Years relevant experience in an earth moving or familiar environment
- Tailings dam operational background/ experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous
- Must be able to understand the relevant standard operating procedure.
- Medically fit to work in a mining environment
- must pass the mine’ criminal screening process.
- May be required to work overtime from time to time.
- Valid drivers licenses will be advantageous.
