South African National Parks (SANParks) is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Health And Safety Officer to be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria, South Africa.

The qualified candidate must have degree or diploma in Health and Safety and management qualifications in OHS will be desired by the company. The candidate is required to have communication skills both written and speaking and the qualified candidate must have proven leadership skills and problem solving skill. Presentation skill is one of the skills that the qualified candidate must have.
The candidate must have a basic financial background and also should be familiar with computer obviously with software like Microsoft Suit and also information skills.
The candidate will be accountable creating incident reporting methods or systems and also promoting the implementation of procedures. It will be the accountability of the candidate to monitor if the procedures implemented are being followed. The candidate will be responsible for inspection and auditing according to the OHS policy and standard. The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of the standard periodically and update the to meet the standard. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to advocate for all people to follow the procedures to perform their work and also collaborating with all stakeholders to make sure that Everything regarding safety is being followed and done accordingly. The candidate will also be responsible to conduct incidents analysis to compare the improvement of health and safety in the park.
