Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Preforming fault diagnosis to speed vehicle servicing
- Making sure that diagnostic equipment is utilized in vehicle examination
- Making sure DCSA procedures and policies are followed during repairs
- Making sure that faults are diagnosed accurately to client’s satisfaction
- Discuss matter with Service Advisors as required and provide lucid explanations
- Co-Operate in vehicle care and safety whilst dealing with vehicles
- Making sure that comebacks are minimized
- Attend breakdowns
- Returning vehicles to clients after service
- Retaining unused parts to parts department
- Give advice or use techniques which ensure quality but safe time.
- Complete forms and documentation included in the company’s service routine
- Attend training courses provided by Daimler and Cargo Motors
- Job Cards to be complete in full handed to service advisor
- Making sure that the working environment is clean
- Housekeeping
- To utilize modern diagnostic equipment to maximum in effecting vehicle service and to interpret findings.
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science, N2 –Engineering Science, Technical Drawing, Maths, Motor Trade Theory
- Experiences: 0 years
