Job Description
As an Electrician at Anglo American, the key responsibilities will be the following:
- Attending safety and risk assessments meetings Identifying any deviation and report them to supervisor
- Performing effective maintenance and installations
- Assisting external and internal engineering
- Making sure that correct training is provided to the trainee artisans
Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 and Technical Trade Specific N3, Electrician Trade Certificate, Medium Voltage Certificate will be advantageous.
- Experience: At least 1 to 2 years engineering experience as an Electrician in the mining environment
- Skills and Competencies:
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Planning skills
- Computer skills
- Ready to work shifts and standby
- Driving license
- Stopping experience will be advantageous
- Medium Voltage Certificate will be advantageous
